Esther Frugac is a Canarian multidisciplinary artist. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna in Tenerife and, like many other failed female artists, finds herself navigating the ambiguous boundary between pursuing an artistic career and searching for stability.

Her most recent major work is Lxs nadies, presented in the group exhibition Ecdisis in 2022

Through her work, she explores the representation of the strange and the dark, approaching the internal and the visceral through a lens rooted in the everyday. Her visual language veils these elements in a semblance of apparent normality.
